ShawnJustin BrianThe Fitness Lifestyle Foundation is a group of clubs and personal trainers that donate Personal Training and Adaptive Exercising for people with disabilities. The Functional Training Program is being offered to Indiana residents.

Brian was involved in a traumatic accident in October 2007. Along with numerous orthopedic injuries, he suffered a vertebral burst fracture resulting in severe spinal canal compression. Though initially paralyzed, he has regained near-normal function and continues to maintain a rigorous exercise routine to maximize his fitness.

Good TrainingThis experience has given him a deep appreciation and a great amount of respect for what people with disabilities go through. There are many challenges to living with a disability including daily living activities which become huge obstacles.

Brian has made a new goal “to introduce people to rewards that come from exercise”. In order to make this goal a realization he started The Fitness Lifestyle Foundation. The Foundation is a group of fitness clubs, and fitness professionals, that offer free memberships and instructional time to those with physical challenges.

Brian says “I would like to share what I’ve learned and do what I can to help people enjoy the benefits of Health and Fitness.”
